Campaign Background:
Royal Brunei Airlines celebrated the first anniversary of its launch of nonstop flights between Brunei and Taipei in December 2019, and the airline hoped to use the milestone to drum up more interest in its flights and transit services to third countries. Brunei is a relatively unknown tourist destination and not one of Taiwanese travelers’ top choices in Asia, and the goal of the promotional campaign was to familiarize local consumers with Brunei’s attractions and big draws.
Campaign Features:
We found that consumers had some general impressions of Brunei, such as its oil and celebrity Wu Chun. But there is so much more – a national park dubbed the Green Jewel, the only ecosystem in Borneo to have proboscis monkeys, the “Venice of the East” Kampong Ayer, and plenty of wreck diving locations. Thus, the campaign used the slogan “Fly Royal Brunei Airlines, discover a different Brunei” to get people to explore the mysteries of Brunei and inform them about the airline’s anniversary flights.
